This particular Rolex Daytona 16568 Diamond Emerald is crafted from 18k rose gold adorned with precious stones. It includes a bracelet link made of 18k rose gold, integrated with a folding clasp, and a scratch-resistant domed sapphire crystal. It’s equipped with a Triplock screw-down winding crown with Rolex signature, screw-down push buttons for the chronograph functions, and a screw-down case back. The oyster-shaped monobloc case has a diameter of 40mm, a straight screw-down case back, and a bracelet and bezel set with 24 baguette-cut diamonds, polished and brushed.

It features a fully diamond-paved dial with a large gold Rolex crown at the 12 o’clock position, gold Arabic numerals at quarter-hour intervals, square-cut emerald hour markers on gold chaton settings, gold hour and minute hands, and a central sweeping seconds hand. It incorporates three subsidiary dials configured in a tri-compax layout, with concentric guilloché patterning, gold rings featuring numerals and black Arabic markers, complemented by gold hands, including a continuous small seconds sub-dial at 9 o’clock, a 12-hour totalizer at 6 o’clock, and a 30-minute chronograph counter at 3 o’clock. This Rolex Daytona 16568 Diamond Emerald houses a 4030 column-wheel chronograph movement, Rolex/Zenith El Primero size, automatic self-winding. It’s rhodium-plated with an oeil-de-perdrix pattern. It’s constructed with 31 jewels, a blue Parachrom hairspring, Incabloc shock absorber, and a straight-line lever escapement. It features a single balance wheel adjusted for temperature and in 5 positions, a Breguet balance spring self-compensating balance, and Microstella regulating screws. The oscillating mechanism operates at a frequency of 36,000 vph (5Hz). The Rolex Daytona 16568 Diamond Emerald was introduced in 1994.
